Broadest Range Of Acuity Measures

The Runge Pocket Vision Era Point Card provides rapid assessment of near point vision with complete interpretation to the broadest range of acuity measures available. The test is designed for use at 16 inches (40 cm). Patients screen on one side, acuity measure on the back. This Near Point card permits designation of the results in whatever nomenclature is preferred. The letters on each line are in increasing level of difficulty. From the back of the card, the practitioner can easily determine the acuity level and then specify the patient's results in any of seven different acuity measures: Snellen Distance Equivalent in Feet, Snellen Distance Equivalent in Meters, Decimal, Jaeger, Times Roman Printer's Points, LogMAR, Actual Letter Size in Meters. Optotype sizes range from 10M (6/150 or 20/500 equiv., 0.04) to .32M (6/4.8, 20/16 equiv., 1.25) at 40 cm. Card measures 9.5x16cm (3.75 x 6.25 in). Also includes a 14 cm ruler and pupil gauge 2 thru 9 mm.
