These new tests are designed for quick amblyopia testing
or screening. The background is gray with the exception of a white rectangle
surrounding each line of symbols.
The Lea Symbols Amblyopia Distance Test
is
spiral bound and designed for use at 10 Feet (3 Meters). It covers a total of 8
different optotype sizes (10/40, 10/32, 10/25, 10/20, 10/16, 10/12.5, 10/10,
10/8) sizes. Each size is presented with one sequence for the right eye and a
different sequence for the left eye. Book measures 9"x 31.4"
(23x8.25cm).
The Lea Symbols Amblyopia Near Vision Screener is a
two-sided card which also employs the gray background and the white
rectangle surrounding each line of symbols. The card is 8"x10"
(20.3 cm x 25.4cm) with a 16" (40cm) Cord.
