This low
contrast face stimulus is designed for assessment of vision for
communication. The set has 5 cards of varying contrast levels of 1.25%,
2.5%, 5%, 10%, 25%, and 100%. A blank card is included to cover the stimulus
before presenting it. The tester slides both cards outward to reveal
"Heidi." Presenting this stimulus in front of an infant who does not
have normal eye movements (while observing the infants expression) can give
important information about the child's visual sphere. Each card measures
23 x 23cm (9"x9"). Includes instructions. Birth
to 18 months.
