The MIN Occlusion lens was
developed to permit treatment for intractable diplopia where the use of a
patch is not tolerated. The MIN lens provides a more satisfactory cosmetic
look while still providing occlusion to the patient's eye. The MIN occlusion
lens is sold as a blank ready to be cut and fit to the patient's frames. It
provides occlusion to less than 20/300 while permitting observation of the eye
to the viewer. Recommended for
treatment of pediatric amblyopia.
Blank size is 3" 75mm)
overall. Useable occlusion is 2 ½" (65mm) diameter. Thickness is
0.080" thick.
