This kit consists of a 'Matching Card', three HRR Symbol cards and instructions. He kit is intended to help prepare a child for subsequent HRR 4th Edition color testing.

There are several ways to use the test. For the youngest patients, the parents can borrow the kit and help the child learn the concept of matching and become familiar with the HRR symbols. Once the child has mastered the 'matching' concept, the matching card can be used during the color vision test to permit the child to identify which symbols they see on each of the HRR plates without touching the HRR plates. In this way, the kit helps prevent damage from children's fingerprints on the HRR test plates.

The cards are laminated for many years of use. The instructions are written in a manner that permits immediate use by the parents.
