Distance Randot
Stereo
Test

The Distance Randot® Stereo test is intended for assessment
of strabismus, amblyopia, and intermittent exotropia. The Distance Randot®
Stereo test may be a sensitive measure to identify and monitor patients with
strabismus, especially those with intermittent deviations. The Distance Randot®
Stereotest is more likely to detect abnormalities in distance stereopsis and
thus can give an earlier indication of the need for intervention or surgery. The
Distance Randot® Stereo test can also be used as an outcome measure following
surgical intervention.
Developed in conjunction with Eileen Birch, PhD and Jonathon
Holmes, MD of the Retina Foundation of the Southwest.
Distance Randot Stereo Test kit includes 4 targets (400 to 60
sec of arc), demonstration card, plus both adult and Pediatric polarized
