Simulator Spectacles
Variantor is a filter designed to detect color
combinations that individuals with protanope or deuteranope find difficulty
distinguishing simultaneously. Provides the viewer with a similar effect as a
person with defective color vision and is intended for education of eye care
professionals. Does NOT reproduce fully how a person with defective color vision
perceives colors. Helpful for examination of color issues with printed matter or
advertising displays. Variantor is worn over viewer’s clear Rx.
CAUTION:
- NOT designed for people with color deficiency.
Does not cure color deficiency.
- Do not drive nor operate machinery with
Variantor.
- Cannot be used with CRT/LCD nor LED lights
- Do not permit viewing by minors without
parental permission
